Gorilla Trekking

Small groups of 8 trekkers follow expert trackers through bamboo and hagenia forests to habituated gorilla families. The hour spent in their presence is profoundly moving - watching silverbacks tend to their young.

Kigali - Africa's Cleanest City

Rwanda's capital is a model of modern African urbanism - clean streets, a vibrant café culture, the Kigali Genocide Memorial, and world-class conference facilities including the new Kigali Convention Centre.

Golden Monkey Tracking

Volcanoes National Park is also home to the rare golden monkey - playful, golden-furred primates found only in the Virunga Mountains. A perfect complement to the gorilla trek.

Kigali positions Rwanda as East Africa’s cleanest and most efficient city gateway, with a strong meetings market and compelling cultural institutions.

Mountain gorilla numbers have increased from 680 to over 1,063 thanks to this model. Beyond gorillas, visitors can trek to the summit of Mount Bisoke for stunning crater lake views, visit the Dian Fossey Gorillas Fund research centre, and kayak on the beautiful twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo at the base of the volcanoes.
